I will, within a few years, gain my Masters of Educational Leadership. This will be one of the tangible pieces of evidence that I “have arrived”, however, I will never truly be done. Even though my formal schooling will then be completed I will continue, as a good professional, to further my learning, teaching and leadership skills.
In addition I would like to become a senior management team member of a large independent school once I have obtained my masters. Through a senior leadership team position I would like to guide the strategic technology direction of a large school either in Vancouver or elsewhere in Canada.
Finally, while never “arriving” at becoming a master teacher, I will see evidence both in my planning and student achievement as I improve and inform my practice. I hope that students will discover and explore new concepts with greater interest and I am better able to seamlessly integrate technology into their everyday learning activities.
